Turns out Scott really does read everyone’s message and take their points to heart. He’s calling to find out who leaked his plan of bringing Crean back on an interim basis, and he is real mad it’s already made its way to the message boards. Lol

Even though I would like to see it sooner rather than later, they won’t fire him in the middle of the season.  But if they did, I’m sure they could come up with something that is better than him coaching.

If Quinn wanted to play AD so bad -- the damn job's been open 3-4 times over the past 25 years or so. 

Why not just apply for it!

Cig very much his guy while he wanted to keep searching on the basketball side. Wouldn’t go so far as to say he didn’t want MW but he definitely wanted to run the traps on other possibilities, and that didn’t happen as much as he probably would’ve preferred.

My point - Rumors all start from somewhere. CMW not engaging with Cig, not attending events, not wanting the women to play on the same court as the mens team, getting in fights with coaches, firing people who question him, not knowing recruits names, putting half of an effort into recruiting because we have a huge NIL program....those are rumors, but those rumors stem from somewhere. I don't like how all of this is avoided because there's a "process" in place. Go talk to all the people that paid huge money to go to the Bahamas to watch an uninspired team "coached" by a guy who needs a nap and see how they feel about rumors versus facts.

Not trying to offer a defense of Woodson.

@Chris007, HH had a story on their podcast of blowing off a dinner with a portal recruit to have his wife order a pizza for the guys Woodson was hanging out with. Have you heard about that and know which recruit it was? My guess is Love.

I do not know who the portal player was. I also have never been invited to the fellas lounge or do not know exactly where it is. I just know it is a warehouse on the Southside of Bloomington. I have some ideas but not sure exactly.

Oh, I meant if you had heard the story of him blowing off the dinner to have pizza from other sources rather than if you heard about the fellas lounge. I guess you answered that question because if you had you would probably have heard who the recruit was. We just have HH word on this one, I guess.

I do not know who the recruit was but this wasn't a one-time thing. I was at Uptown one night two summers ago when we had a recruit in town. A good shooter whose dad played in the NBA. But Adam Howard brought the recruit and the family in to sit down. Slowly all the assistants, Calbert, and then Jordy all showed up. We finished eating, paid our bill, said hi to all the coaches, left, and were walking down the street when Woodson and Money were parking the car. Stopped and talked to them for at least 15 minutes.

Despite a top 5 NIL budget, we're nowhere near being a top 5 team.

The gap between where we are and where we need to be is so huge right now.

Pathetic how someone can just write this off as "a couple lousy games in November" when the reality is that was a huge chance for multiple Quad 1 wins and will play a huge factor in whether or not we go to the tournament.

Ok, so let's say for gits and shiggles that IU goes 0-6 to open the B1G season.  Is that the "enough is enough" that it will take? A home loss to Minnesota and a thrashing by Nebraska maybe? I am looking at the first six games and there is no faith based on what has been shown that this team is a top or mid level conference team.  It pains me to watch other B1G teams play hard.
