So like, no more QB controversy right??

Yeah, the “competition” served its purpose. It got Jackson his 1st start against s team that wasn’t gonna beat his brains out. Mission accomplished. Hopefully, Sorsby gets credit for being the good soldier when he’s in the portal in January.

Impressive Terre Haute Bowl victory played in Bloomington

Who gets the start at qb It doesn’t matter vs Louisville because if it’s like the past….a QB controversy will arise its head again by the middle of quarter 3 that will be reflected by the score which will be reflected by offensive efficiency.

Well I decided to not stay up all night to watch the game so I watched it this morning instead.    I am sure I will simply say what has already been said....

This game told us as much about the team as last weeks. Not a whole lot.

I do think Jackson cemented himself as the starter, but what the hell do I know.

I was infuriated with all the stupid penalties.  Two running into the kicker penalties?  Comeon.  Just sloppy.

Louisville to me is the game that is going to say something about the team.  Win and I see at last 6 - 6. Lose 4 -8.

I suppose it’s part of the culture and LEO philosophy, but it’s so weird to me to see Allen clapping and cheering on after some of these terrible penalties.

Know he can’t be coaching that but just weird to see him clapping after that awful return penalty in the 2nd

I think CTA would clap at a funeral.

While it may seem to be somewhat out of place...to me it indicates that the coach is emphasizing the need to focus on the next play.  Get pumped up for it.

The previous play may have been awful or a player really goofed up. Learn from it.  But, onward and upward.  Let's go.

Would it be better to demean a player or curse the hell out of them?

A manager has a lot of tools to use.  One I had to keep repeating to myself is 'Listen, and respond with empathy'.  It does not mean to agree.  I needed to remind myself to not respond immediately in a way that would stop any positive motivation on the part of others.

"demean a player or curse the hell out of them" - not at all, as fans we're all fed up by what are seemingly stupid mental errors, so just find it curious for the HC who sees those up close and personal.

Know he doesn't "tolerate it" but are we correcting these through coaching? 1-1 so could be worse, just margin for error isn't that high, and will be even lower when not playing a FBS school

Don’t disagree here, but his response is to scream at assistant coaches and throw them under the bus to the media in the name of “accountability” which is total BS coming from him.
