This feels late. Edgecombe really blew up a couple of months ago and already has a strong, strong list. We shall see.

This one was easy to see if you are following Adam Howard. He’s been retweeting Edgecombe related stuff for a bit. And yeah you are correct, Edgecombe is blowing up.

Doesn't bother me anymore.  Now if he'd have referred to us as University of Indiana State or State University of Indiana, I'd be upset.

Edgecombe will be playing AAU for Southeast Elite on the 3SSB circuit.  Teammates will be 2 other IU offerees '25 Mikel Brown and '25 Caleb Wilson if they both opt to play 17U.

Is there a ‘25 Caleb Williams I’m forgetting about or is ‘24 Caleb Williams leaving Team Takeover? That would be a pretty surprising move if true.

Eh, a lot of schools are 'University of' so I get the mistake.  There are worse things to be called, like Purdue.

Edgecombe’s reaction to the Indiana offer was one of relief.

Edgecombe has staged a hostile takeover for the last seven months that included being named Player of the Year in by far the country’s most grueling high school basketball league (NIBC), averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.5 assists a game for Long Island (N.Y.) Lutheran, and now he’s emerging as one of the top players in the adidas 3SSB.

He is a special blend of speed, quickness, length, three-level scoring ability and energy. Good luck finding a more intense competitor on any circuit.
