Stanford getting beat tonight should give us some breathing room to retain a 1-seed even if we stumble en route to the B1G tourney crown. That’s their 5th loss of the season.

You are right 2002.  Thanks for the update …and Don Fischer.  
That was before I really paid much attention to basketball on the Ladies side except for Indiana high school girls basketball.  And even now I wasn’t aware of big ten tournament championship on Ladies side.  Thanks.

Curious to know people’s preferences on conference tourney dates. In men’s, it’s the Power 5 conferences ending the week leading up to Selection Sunday with the mid major conferences the week before. It’s the exact opposite for women’s. What’s more fun/interesting for you?

I’ll answer. I do like the build up of the men’s side to Selection Sunday for Power 5. I wish it would end on Saturday evening. The smaller conference drama builds the mood for March.

The women announcers are awful drove me crazy during the Purdue and Wisconsin game. I really wanted Purdue to beat IU. I for some reason like watching Purdue women more than the men.

2002 was a "miracle run", back when no one cared about the program or bothered to do anything for it. 

20 years later, we are seeing the results of a program nurtured.
