Jordan Geronimo entered the portal just once, in 2021, when there was a coaching change and almost the entire team entered the transfer portal. The four IU players who entered the portal in 2022 were Parker Stewart, Kristian Lander, Rob Phinisee, and Michael Durr.

Because it was known back then that Duncomb, Bates and Geronimo were leaning towards leaving. Some people didn’t want to believe it.

We also knew that TJD, Race Thompson and Miller Kopp were leaving. So far IU has found a replacement for Duncomb with Payton Sparks (Sparks is likely better than Duncomb but few project him as a starter). There are still huge holes in the team roster.
