Growth under Woodson. So many times in the past we lose this game.

Agree completely. The Rutgers game is an example as well. No way IU wins these two games last year or any year of the Archie era. We’re finally seeing the consistency we all want. I’m really excited for the rest of the season

You obviously don’t like to win either.

Yes, because I get frustrated when JHS plays too selfishly that means I don't like winning.  Brilliant deduction

I cannot believe we didn’t foul them in the last 8 seconds. It was such a scramble I wasn’t sure I was seeing what I saw.

Anyone have a link to the last 8 second video??

When does JHS play selfishly? That, I don't think, has happened all year.  Definitely not last night.

Not piling on and of course don’t think you “don’t like winning” (lol), but I don’t see any selfishness in JHS at all. He’s being relied on to score, as well as run the floor, bc he can create his own shot and convert, really only he and TJD can on this team (Gallo can get to rim but not create for himself on the dribble). I did think we were too unbalanced last night, but it wasn’t selfishness.

The offense did not look better with JG/MR. And Michigan is a poor defensive team.

We were unbalanced last night offensively, really no one outside JHS and TJD got anything going, might’ve been a game where Race’s O would’ve helped, but then we won on the road in MU where we almost never do and against a MU team desperate for the W, and the athleticism on D, including JG’s D (better in second half) played a good role in that. MR was just lost out there for much of the game, just a frosh night for him, I’m sure he’ll bounce back from it.

JG was ok.. he still got absolutely torched on a close out when we were in zone, not sure I've seen that happen before...

But.. either way, those two showed last night why Race gets 25mpg since returning. He's better, overall and more consistent, than those two.

The current Race is, uh, okay.

A healthy Race? Yes please

Don’t want to rehash the same discussion, not going to. What is clear is Race hasn’t been 100 percent since returning from injury and he didn’t play last night. Glad we have 3 guys who each can bring game to the table up front.

Well.. the other two with gobs less experience than Race and clearly worse defenders... were worse than "ok" last night.

Yeah, I want Race to be healthy too. Idk what injury it was last night, but his knee looked a lot better against Purdue and Rutgers.

Race the last two games(Purdue and Rutgers).. the knee was fine.

There isn't really that much to rehash, Race is going to play the majority of the mins at the 4. And for good reason.

Malik will hopefully get 12-18 mins. I'm not sure there is a spot/mins for JG, currently.

Ohhh..ok.

But I had to read JG would play the 3 for 3 years? Lol I'm beating the dead horse?

That is absolute gold. I got a good chuckle out of that.

Thats fine, we can drop it... until a week from now and Race only scores 4 points in a game and we have to read this crap about how Malik and JG make our offense look better, again. K

There are times in every game where he thinks he's the only player on the floor.  He decides he's going to shoot the ball no matter what the defense shows him, no matter how open his teammates is, he's the only one on the team.  I call that selfish but maybe you call it something else.  I hate that part of his game

That hasn't happened, though.

Maybe once at Minny?
