Virginia Tech led by Kenny Brooks Ladies Basketball seem to take the character and personality of their coach and is one of the classiest basketball programs in all of Ladies college basketball.

Caitlin Clark? The greatest ever who would beat MJ in one on one and Steph in a shooting contest?

Iowa's never really worried me. We should have swept them last year.

Seems like the last 2-3 years, Gino's lost a player to a season ending  injury.   From Raoul:  Regarding sophomore forward Ayanna Patterson, who's had a long-standing issue with her knee, UConn WBB coach Geno Auriemma said today, "I don't anticipate Ayanna being back [this season]"   Last month UConn lost Azzi Fudd to a season ending injury.

In the B1G -

Michigan State WBB junior forward Isa Alexander and senior guard Gabby Elliott are both out for the season with injuries

Maryland WBB redshirt sophomore forward Emma Chardon out for the season with a torn ACL; she also suffered a season-ending injury last season, in the very first game

Today's Purdue at Maryland WBB game has been postponed because of a leak in the roof at Xfinity Center; playing in an auxiliary gym was discussed, "but Purdue didn’t feel comfortable with that option"

Maybe, tv emphasis on C. C. Iowa vs IU Ladies Basketball next Saturday’s game on Fox will give IU motivation.  I don’t think game was verbally noted though it was displayed on tv screen.

Regarding Elissa Brett—injured late in the Minnesota game a week ago and averaging 8.3 PPG and 4.0 RPG—Michigan WBB coach Kim Barnes Arico during her radio appearance this morning said, "she's out ... and we're not really sure about her return yet"

Push off Clark…the ref didn’t miss that.  Just didn’t call it vs Ohio State towards end of first half.

Buckeyes used a 19-6 run to go up 77-76 over Iowa. Had the ball, beautiful feed for a reverse layup that somehow missed, Clark snatched it and went coast to coast to put Iowa back in front.

Cotie McMahon is doing her best to try and take down Clark, but I'm not sure she'll have enough. Just missed a free throw that would have tied it with a minute left.
