Stuhoo Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 This seems more than a little odd because the odds of young Mr. Cunningham attending any college are not at that high, but we offered so here's the skinny. https://247sports.com/player/naas-cunningham-46109988/ https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2024/naasir-cunningham-279827 https://www.on3.com/db/naasir-cunningham-90872/ http://www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/247458/naasir-cunningham https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-recruiting-hoosiers-offer-2024-5-star-wing-naas-cunningham/ FWIW, an interesting line from the Daily Hoosier is that Cunningham is believed to be a strong candidate for reclassification to 2023. BtownStrength Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 If we were to land Naas in 2023, that would certainly give us the star power that we had in the 2022 class. ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierHoops1 and thebigweave 3 Quote

Minutes played aren't available so don't know if poor outings were due to minimal minutes on the court or a lack of player motivation. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Eric Bossi's comments following the Overtime Elite Pro Day, The No. 2 ranked player in the class of 2024, opinions on Cunningham were split as I polled the room. Personally, I felt it was a pretty good day for him. He showed some ability and desire to move his feet defensively that I hadn’t seen before, made a few nice reads as a passer and shot the ball fairly well. He certainly stood out in his group during the shooting drills. Cunningham most recently took an unofficial visit to Missouri and discussed the latest in his recruitment with our Dushawn London just a week ago. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 IMO this one was a bit of a hail Mary offer from the get go. 2024 five-star Naas Cunningham is down to five schools: Duke, Kansas, Memphis, Rutgers, and UCLA. Demo 1 Quote

As much as I respect Pikiell, this idea that suddenly every ‘24 5-star on the planet is dying to go play 59-57 games in Piscataway sounds a little….off. And, yeah, Cunningham and Harper are New Jersey kids, but Bailey isn’t. lillurk and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
