NashvilleHoosier Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Berger seems really hesitant and happy to give up the ball. This one might be over… Quote
NashvilleHoosier Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Feel bad they had to play UConn this round. But an elite 8 followed up by a sweet 16 is really solid for this program. Hopefully they’ve laid the groundwork to really build something. FloridaHoosierGirl and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Brutal draw is playing out the way I hoped it wouldn’t. We’ll keep fighting, and not roll over like the mens team did, at least. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote
Banksyrules Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 We don’t match with them athletically. We now turn to the next chapter of our program. Hopefully we can recruit top ranked players each recruiting year. Zachetology 1 Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 What the heck does that mean? Coach complaining about the fouls finally being called on them? Quote
colonel06 Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Third quarter put it out of reach. I don’t recall the women playing as bad as this U Conn game! Quote
LamarCheeks Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 UConn is leaving the door open -- just a teeny, weenie little bit -- but we're not taking advantage. Gotta pretty much be perfect here on out if we want to have any chance. No more silly mistakes. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Like Moore-McNeil trying to dribble her way past 4 players. And NCH making a stupid foul afterward. Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 I’ve watched a lot of women’s games this year. Credit to UCONN, who has far better talent, but this is as badly as we’ve played all year. Really uncharacteristic. colonel06 and hoosierfan6157 2 Quote

That’s when UConn built the lead and IU looked hesitant to defend. Rebounding has been an issue, too. I saw it against Princeton but you can’t have those same issues against a team like UConn. Quote
LIHoosier Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 That's some length of the court move from Grace Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Grace is a phenomenal player. I love her game. But she needs to extend her range out to the three point line. Story of this game though, is we need more length. Height in the woman’s game is becoming a huge differentiator. Quote
colonel06 Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Our lady Hoosiers gave it all but can see they are out of gas causing them to foul. FloridaHoosierGirl 1 Quote
