No reason to offer someone that you know isn’t coming unless you hire the coach Welp, I don't see him going to Bradley, and offers are free to give. IIRC, Adams has spent time at IU with Crean, so has IN connections. Not sure how he (Adams) is thought of by the current staff, but no reason not to extend a little effort. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted July 4, 2022 Author Posted July 4, 2022 (edited) Stats for our IU offers at the NBA Top 100 Camp. I included Flory Bidunga because there is a lot of board interest in him but he does NOT have an offer. All of the teams played 5 games and then it moved into a tournament format which is why some have stats for more than 5 games. Xavier Booker '23 Date Pts. FGM FGA 3PM 3PA FTM FTA Reb Assts. Stuhoo Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Either Booker was injured, or he just wasn’t very good. Arriten Page? yessiree! Actively rebounding, 9/10 from the line, and shooting from the perimeter. EDIT: Apparently Booker was playing on a sprained ankle. I feel better about his numbers having seen that. Either of these guys is an outstanding complement to Malik Reneau’s low post abilities. Quote
ebridges24 Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Did Coen seriously go 3 for 56 from the field in the 2nd game? That boys arm must be tired. thebigweave 1 Quote

Yes he did. There was a point in the game where the time and space continuum intersected with the air quality index of West Laffy and he was caught up in a Groundhog Day vortex. :-) Thanks for catching it and it has been corrected. Demo Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Fascinating: I just called Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City, where EYBL Session 4 is being played starting Thursday, to ask if this one is a public event. EYBL has no ticket info on their site. Hey-Vee’s response: We think it’s public, but we don’t know for sure. We’re hoping to know more this afternoon. Yes, it starts in less than 48 hours and the venue doesn’t know if they’re letting people in. ebridges24 and thebigweave 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Big evaluation weekend for the 3 major circuits. EYBL is in Kansas City with games starting tomorrow and running through Sunday. This event will determine which teams advance to the Peach Jam scheduled for July 17-24. Adidas is in Rock Hill, SC starting tomorrow and running through Sunday. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 From Eric Bossi on '23s who are potential stock boosters based on how they play during the July evaluation period. Elmarko Jackson – Let’s be clear, Jackson isn’t sneaking up on anybody. He’s ranked No. 72 nationally and has been pretty well known for a while. However, he’s starting to show that he can be a full time point guard and given his ability to get to the rim and toughness, he could push for the national top 50 with a July that resembles his play during the spring months. In the last week or so alone Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Texas and Villanova have joined others like DePaul, LSU, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and many others in the hunt for his services. TJ Power – Power is already ranked pretty highly at No. 54 overall, but he’s got a chance to move up and could even knock on the door of five-star status if he continues to play the way he did during April, May and June. At 6-foot-8 he’s a versatile forward with deep shot making ability, positional size and toughness. With nearly 30 reported offers, he’s already become one of the most heavily recruited players in the country. HoosierHoops1 1 Quote
