Stewart is close, I just think CMW needs to keep running sets for him, specifically starting the game to get him going and involved

If they started doing that, teams would easily shut him down. He is a couple levels above his head. We should be watching him play at Ball St or Ind St.(even that is ????? in my opinion)  Consistency is this teams biggest problem, but you CAN NOT put yourself at a disadvantage from starting Stewart and Kopp also. You already know Phinissee is going to be a negative in at least 1 out of 3 games. The rest of this team is not good enough to over come the problems these 3 bring to the team.

He averaged 19 points per game at East Tennessee State. He shot over 40% from three in ACC play as a freshman at Pitt.   Ball State and Indiana aren't 'above his level'.

Which is confusing because we do this sometimes and get really good looks for both the shooter or for a cutter. Other times we just completely forget or maybe instructed not to move?

It’s because we have everything run through TJD and they wait for him to make a move.  I still can’t figure out why the person passing into the post, goes to make a pick/screen off the ball and that person cuts to the open spot vacated by the passer/screener to get an open look instead of all standing and waiting

Why though?

Archie mother ******* Miller.  He set this program back years.  Woody gonna thrive though, he just needs 4 years to implement his system

It's crazy that we arguably have better talent than Syracuse, Wiscy, psu, and Iowa yet we couldn't pull those games out. Meatchicken probably has better talent than us, although young, and whopped us on our home court. Such is college basketball and the life of {17..24} year olds.

One day I trust we will have a program that either develops talent or lands top talent with a dynamic coach that can run the best offense/defense systems for the players on his/her roster.

Yea I don't trust anything positive with the future of iu till we see it. We have been waiting a long time now and there were a couple glimmers of hope but were quickly dashed.

I went to the game knowing full well it could be a let down.  Team was flat.  Several players looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but on the floor.  They also had no gas left in the tank. Every shot, including layups, was short.  Couldn’t buy a basket.  Michigan on the other hand couldn’t miss.

I agree with others.  Miller and Stewart should be split up.  Starting lineup should change based on matchups.  Need more movement on offense.  Need more attitude, which has been lost by years with that other guy.  Like Woody says, “ it’s ok to be great.”

It’s going to take CMW at least 2 full years to change the culture and mindset of the players, maybe even 3. In the meantime, this kind of green beans after a big win maybe the result. I like the fact that CMW took responsibility for their loss and didn’t point fingers at the players. He is learning that as a coaching staff, they can’t assume the leadership is there after a big game to be ready for their next game.
