I want to say we're tired and that's why we're losing playing our 3rd game of the week. But I'd be fooling myself believing that. This is brutal

We can just chalk it up to them being crazy hot and hitting everything. We can add in that we contested everything, played with great energy and effort, and they just got lucky!

Edit: I forgot blaming effort is lazy.

Look what happens when you let guys dive on each other. **** this conference man.

They’ve let them be chippy all game.

I love the Big Ten but we consistently have awful refs.

There isn't a guard in the country that can't blow by Parker..

Said this from our very first game. It was going to be an issue in the Big Ten and we’re seeing it with Parker and Kopp now.

Same could be said for Leal, but Leal’s effort is more noticeable IMO.

Refs have been the least of our worries today. Far too many open looks. Over helping and rotating around like crazy when you've gotten beat off the bounce have been the issues. Let the guys in blue get hot early and they've left us in the dust

You have to start Galloway instead of one of them. Maybe Bates if he continues to improve. I can’t believe our defense is as good as it is with them both starting.

Those are hater comments! It was pretty obvious though. Kopp and P Stew are defensive liabilities, why that hasn't been changed is pretty baffling and is losing basketball.

I’m not sure what the impetus is to blame things on one single factor. The defense has been bad. Michigan has been hot. The refs have let them play football. It’s all been true.

I think our defense has been solid because we haven’t played the strongest teams until this week. Purdue game was off adrenaline perhaps? LOL.

Our roster is solid, but it’s not ideal. We start 2 post players that can’t shoot outside of 10 feet. Hard to play against teams who are more modern.
