How do we keep getting beat off the dribble so easily?

Several of our wings aren’t great defenders because they lack lateral quickness. We have others that bend at the waist and reach instead of sliding.

Once that gets straightened out, we can start focusing on pushing the ball handler to the help defense instead of just getting whipped.

Man, I really miss having a Zeisloft or a Roth or a JBJ -- even Yogi as a senior. A guy who can knock down a 3 from just about anywhere at any time. We haven't had that in a really long while. Watching that Illinois-Purdue game and seeing Plummer and Stefanovic go off ... I gotta admit, I was jealous.

Parker has shown flashes, but not enough to convince me he'll be anything special.

We're leading at the half, but my wife is kicking me out of the bedroom so she can lay down.  I'm going to have to switch to the family room tv which may mess up my contribution to this game.  Dangit, if we lose I'm giving out my wife's email so you can all send her hate mail.  No pics of junk please.

I think we still look lost on offense. Only have 7 assists. Most of our baskets are 1:1 guys making plays. I also think we went about 4 possessions NOT recognizing a zone.

Seems like 45 pts at half is a bit faster pace than we are comfortable sustaining. Either we clamp down on D or get sloppy with turnovers in the 2nd half.

Gotta keep the guards in front of us and not get owned on ball screens while getting out to shooters. Having Race or Geronimo coming from the weak side is more desirable than Kopp.

We did have some good ball movement that lead to open looks but not nearly enough of it.

Geronimo should play more. Bates looks better with a lineup that isn't offensively inept. Foul trouble definitely the story in the 1st half. Not great but leading. Need to come out ready to go in the 2nd half because keeping this around the 6-8 range all game will be dangerous
