Most knew after the draw that playing Princeton on their home floor was going to be tough. Princeton and Heritage Hills shared the PAC conference title so they have a good team. They played the 157th-ranked schedule in the state, only played 1 team in 4A, and didn't play a single T25 team all year. Class of '66 Old Fart and Demo 2 Quote

Man... idk. Heritage Hills and Scottsburg both 3A teams chose to play pathetic schedules--- and they both knew for years they were going to have REALLY good teams these years. I feel it's laziness by their AD/maybe their HC is worried about their record? Geography MAYBE played a just a little factor.... but every where is a drive for Heritage Hills-- christ its in BFE. Not playing Castle, Ev Harrison, Reitz, Bosse, North is just wild to me. And it's less than 50 mins to basically all of those schools. Heck under a 2hr drive to the Bloomington schools. I can respect they play in a "big" conference --- they played 12 conference games, but idk. To be honest-- Scottsburg's is even worse, and they are better than HH. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote

Yes not sure why they wouldn't play the two Bloomington schools. Maybe if they did IU could get some coaches to see them there. JF87, Demo, southsidehoosier and 3 others 2 4 Quote

I hate Purdue with a passion, but unfortunately, I've been impressed with Painter and how he interacts with fans while on his visits, many of them wearing IU gear. It seemed like last night there was a constant visitor with him either wanting an autograph or photo. I'm not sure where this recruitment will land but Painter is definitely putting in the face time. #PuckFurdouche Chris007 and thebigweave 2 Quote

IUc2016 Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 A poster on Peegs posted midday yesterday that Woody was expected to be at Trent's game, along with Painter. Rabby refuted it, saying he didn't expect any coaches to be there. Well later on obviously Painter showed up and Woody did not. That same poster said he talked to the same source at the game who told him Woody was expected, and the source told him IU reached out earlier in the week saying they would be there and then essentially ghosted. Really odd if true... Quote

There are certainly a lot of hills between Bloomington and Princeton. Perhaps, he and whoever was planning to attend with him just couldn't get over one of those humps (waa waa waa). monskisprodigy 1 Quote

Woodson likes the idea of the iu job but on his terms. Kind of what you would expect from a 66 year old ho seems semi retired. Sad.Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Quote
