Aden Holloway, 5-start pg from Auburn in the portal. 7.3ppg, but only shot 30% from 3. 77% free throw shooter.

Frees up room for Auburn to target Myles Rice harder. I know they are bringing a 5* in but they've lost both PG's from last year to the portal.

Interesting read on some high end ‘23 kids looking for change of scenery. None with IU interest that we’ve heard. Had not heard about Garwey Dual being suspended for throwing a punch in a game. Cassidy chaulks it up to some immaturity. Not sure about that. Saw him absolutely lose it on an official after a game to the point that teammates had to hold him back. He may have some stuff to deal with.

I remember the Dual thing. It was not pretty for either side. Sucker punches both ways. He didn’t start it but he certainly finished it.

Has a "do not disturb" tag on his portal entry -- which means he knows where he's going.

That probably means following Schertz to Saint Louis.

I think he's either going to SLU or staying, depending on what they do with Graves. He's done really well for himself NIL-wise in Terre Haute.

Tobe Awaka, 6'8" PF, Tennessee.  Interior backup for Tennessee with some talent.  In 13 minutes per game last year averaged 5.1 points and 4.6 rebounds -- very solid rebounder, registered two double-doubles last year despite not starting any games.  Is a fouling machine, though.

Seth Trimble, UNC.  17 minutes/game at UNC last year as a sophomore, averaged 5.2 points.  Shot 42% on limited three point attempts (13 of 31).  30th ranked recruit in class of 2022.

Davion Bailey, 6'4" guard from Ball State.  Freshman last year, averaged 12.6 points, 3.7 rebounds.  Bulk three point shooter who made 43% of his threes last year.

Anthony Dell'Orso, 6'6 G/F from Campbell.  Sophomore last year, averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists.  Shot 49/38/81.

Andrew Morgan, North Dakota State, committed to Nebraska.  Consider him to be a Josiah Allick clone.

Interesting article about him: Story

He's from Minnesota and wanted to go to UM but Nebraska outbid for him. Allegedly $200k and Minnesota could only offer $100k.

I am not that interested in NIL details, but from what I have seen it does appear there is a very real 'have & have not' stratification developing. The poor teams are just developing talent for the big boys.

Don’t know about hard, but he’s the only other school I’ve seen linked with Rice.

Read an article about the newest Auburn decommit -- previously Pearl was saying that the top rated point guard coming in 'isn't a point guard, he's a scorer' and planned on playing at the 2 guard.  They mentioned Rice in the article as a potential target but the one they really centered on was J.P. Pegues from Furman, who has Auburn in his final 4.
