Archie has to be one of the dumbest coaches I've ever seen. So lucky to win. You NEVER call a timeout when the other team has zero. You literally allowed them to actually get set. You should have already known what to do before even shooting the FTs and what defense to set up in. That's crap you do in practice.

Lighten up, Francis.  We won.

Dubya. We will take it. Hard to say this after a win but, I’m on board with firing the staff. What I watched wasn’t tough kids refusing to lose. It was pure unadulterated luck and a kid that decided to hit free throws. There is no direction. No plan. It’s all iso and wing it. This cannot succeed long term. Doesn’t matter who plays. Feel great for Jerome. What a prayer.

Pretty nice assist to TJD though. That was pretty to give him a little credit and pump some

Good pass to Geronimo for a dunk.  Better defensively than he had played previously.  Still needs to provide at least a little scoring, but this wasn't like early in the year where teams went at him as soon as he came in.

Yeah I guess lol...

Durham and Franklin, A+.

TJD, B+ for the second half and double double.

The rest was pretty painful.

Might have been mistaken on who dunked it. But that was one pretty pass

Yeah, at best it will be a roller coaster without sustained long term consistency.  It does seem like we do finally have a group of players who are at least on the same page in terms of rooting for each other to do well and not sulking about minutes or touches.  I certainly don't miss the DeVontes/Justin Smiths/De'rons.

I did the same tonight.....but did turn in to watch the the end of regulation the first two OTs.  Recorded the third OT while I ate my birthday dinner and then watched the third OT.

Guys, how about our offense?  79 points and 59 in the second half*!

I guess I missed the third OT

I agree you should never call a timeout in that situation  but coaches even hall of fame coaches do it all the time and it drives me crazy every time one of them does it.

Northwestern hasn’t won in 46 days

Yeah, was kind of my point.  Just another long day at the office for them.

Northwestern sure gave me a nice B-day gift.  Think they blew a 14 point lead and 7 point lead in about the last minute and a half of regulation, and then another decent lead in OT.

so that was a quad 2 win, correct?

I think they might have dropped to Quad three.  I think last I looked, IU had a quad 3 loss, which I assume was Northwestern.

Although I think there are different definitions based on whether the team is at home or away....so it might have been a quad three loss at home but quad two win on the road.

Current NET has NW at 85 I think, so should be a Q2 since it was on the road. I think the loss was NW, but was Q3 since it was home.
