Did Geronimo just have his Oladipo “halftime buzzer beater in a non-con game before he breaks out” moment?

Future All-American!

He has no other choice. Be Hanner Perea 2.0 or Victor Oladipo.

I remember Al as a FR and me thinking man this kid might have a bright future. 4 years later he's pretty much the same player with a better shot. And let's remember he was a terrible shooter then so there wasn't much place to go but up in that regard.

As disappointed as I am. He is reflective of his ranking. Why after 4 years nobody has taken his starting role is amazing.

Didn't you just post a bit ago that when he plays we'll have to accept that we'll look like poo? Now he's a future AA? Personally I've liked what I've seen from so far this season and don't really believe he hinders the team much.

Would someone please issue a Silver Alert for IU's offense.  Against a bottom feeder and we looked awful for most of the half.  Galloway's 4-4 shooting is the only thing that made the team's FG% look somewhat respectable.  And 54.5% FT shooting -- Good Grief.

Our last possession before the Geronimo steal was embarrassing.
What else can you say? Are we progressing? Foul shooting going backwards again. 3 pointers not falling. 11 turnovers. Up 16 at the half against a double frosted cupcake. I don’t know. I just don’t know.

It was sarcasm in reference to my All American comment.

I’m not expecting too much from him this year. My statement is this : When we’re playing a team like North Alabama and Archie gets his freshman all on the court together (for valuable PT, the right move), then we’re going to look like poo poo.

A silver alert would indicate its matured and existed at some point.

Poor shooting has become who we are. It is our identity lol

Ugly performance against an awful team.

TJD--12 points--should have 20. He is way better than anyone else on either team.

Race Thompson--2 points, 3 missed free throws. Where is the Race from the Providence game?

Franklin--one good game this year. Otherwise, he has been lousy especially with shooting. That baseline drive does not work.

Phinisee--1 point? When is this guy going to live up to the hype?

Durham--Does Al play like a senior? I don't think so.

Hunter--6 rebounds & 3-point shot out of 3. Coughed it up a couple of times. At least he is getting playing time. He could be what IU needs if he starts hitting that 3-point shot with consistency.

Gallaway-9 points on 4 for 4. Trey seems to play great against terrible teams and terrible against good teams. At least he hustles and shows potential.

Lander--2 points on free throws. No defense, no outside shot.

Geronimo--1 for 1 from the field 0 for 2 from the line. He's got a long way to go.

Leal--Was this guy really Indiana Mr. Basketball?

What’s crazy is it doesn’t seem to be influenced by the opposing team all that much
No these guys get plenty of open looks or what would be considered a good shot but we don't knock it down. It's all on our guys or coaching staff depending on which side of that you are on.
