LamarCheeks Posted February 23, 2025 Posted February 23, 2025 Schwarbs -- keepin' it real. Love it. He goes up and swings from the heels anyway -- so managers know exactly what they're getting. He's not gonna change his approach much whether he's batting first or fourth or eighth. WayneFleekHoosier, LockdownD, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 3 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Schwarbs with a 3-HR night gives him 48 on the season. Big Klu with 49 holds the season record for IU players in the big leagues hitting those in 1954. This was also his 35th multi-HR game. southsidehoosier and LIHoosier 2 Quote

Demo Posted September 25, 2025 Posted September 25, 2025 Schwarber with 2 more bombs tonight. Now at 56 for the year. His contract situation is going to be pretty interesting. He’s in his last year. He’ll be 33 before next season starts. He can barely play the field anymore. But he’s having this monstrous year and he’s a straight leader and winner. What’s he worth and to how many teams? Can’t imagine the Phillies don’t re-sign him, but what’s it gonna look like? Maybe 3/90, something like that? Gonna be fascinating to watch. jermhoosierfan, Napleshoosier, Class of '66 Old Fart and 1 other 4 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted November 14, 2025 Posted November 14, 2025 Schwarbs second in NL MVP voting. Finished behind some guy named Ohtano or Ohtani -- something like that -- who was the unanimous choice.
