RaceToTheTop Posted February 23 Posted February 23 With IU's win and Ohio State's loss, currently IU would be a 10 seed in the Big Ten Tournament (and would play Rutgers in the opener). If USC beats Rutgers today, then IU would move be the 9 seed as they would win a tiebreaker over Nebraska and USC in a three team tie. That seed would have IU playing Oregon on Thursday. Although, I prefer IU to win a couple of games in the BTT, if they make it. Before today, I believe there was still 4,600 possible outcomes where IU misses the BTT. Quote

Probably won some spreads still however the last game they were favored in was the USC game. @johnsoniucan confirm this or tell me I’m wrong Muskie plays the four and RaceToTheTop 2 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 https://x.com/brad_wachtel/status/1893993494592500128?s=46 as I’ve said for a very long time on here if IU goes 10-10 in conference they are going to have a very good chance at making the tourney. These schools are who IUs resume is going to be compared to and not Duke, Auburn, Sparty or Houston. And some people said that IU had to go 12-8 just to be considered. It’s all about what those wins are in the each case. IU is in a spot where 11-9 and they are probably locked in. 4 games left 3 Q2 and 1 Q1 where depending on what Ohio State does that one could move back to Q1. IU has put them in position to control their own destiny when it comes to making the tourney. Not what any of us wanted with a team that was projected to finish 2nd but it’s still a possible tourney selection cybergates, Dave from Dayton, ALASKA HOOSIER and 4 others 5 2 Quote

The UD arena in Dayton is a fun visit. Easy access. Good seats. Skip the Pine Club for something more fun...for restaurants. It is stuffy and only accepts cash. Lots of fun place on 5th street. Toxic Brewery is there but no food. I like the Dayton Beer Company. Thanks for the Bracketology information! And I agree...sure hope that IU does NOT play in Dayton. Hope they play anyplace else in the NCAAT. Uspshoosier and Muskie plays the four 2 Quote

Interesting place and good food. Coopers Hawk is a little upscale and has interesting wines. South of the arena in Centerville. Figlio's in the Town and Country shopping center in Kettering has wood-fired pizza. Mama DiSalvos Italian... Jimmy's Ladder 11 is a bar with a big menu near the UD campus...but not too close. Eudora brewery, southeast, is decent sized and ok. For an historical brewery, right next to the UD Arena...across the river...is the Carillon brewery.
