Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Last big month to watch our targets in AAU action with 2 evaluation periods on the calendar: July 11-14 and July 23-28. A total of 16 days in July are designated as a Dead Period which means no in-person recruiting contact and no official or unofficial campus visits. The entire month of August is a Quiet Period which means in-person contacts may be made only on campus. No off-campus contacts or evaluations are permitted. Nike Peach Jam: July 10-14 in North Augusta, SC. Teams had to qualify to participate in the Peach Jam and several teams with players with IU offers or interest failed so the following will not be playing in the Peach Jam: Andre Jackson, Matt Cross, Caleb Love and Elijah Hutchins-Everett. Couple of comments about players you won't see because they've committed elsewhere but Nigel Pack had a 10 assist night in Indy Heat's win. Ethan Morton continues to be a head scratcher. His team was soundly beaten and in 28 minutes he scored just a single point. He did have 3 reb. and 5 assists but in 14 AAU games, he's shooting just 19% from the field and a woeful 8% on 3's.
