Didn't see the game but great RPI win (up 12 spots to 36 now)! Never seem to have a problem with beating the best of them recently and this is important in moving our RPI back up. Now don't stub toe to much against teams ranked below us if we want chance to host regional as was predicted earlier today.

Herrin was really good today. 4IP no runs no walks and 4H.

His era went from like 6.5 to 4.3 lol

We have serious depth in our pitching staff.

Wonder if Miller's suspension will be lifted. Pure speculation, but I would think he might have had some extra-curricular activities Friday evening that Lemonis didn't like or he mouthed off to a coach on Friday. Just my guesses. Hopefully it's something simple and he can see we won two games without him.

Pitching wise for today: Sabol didn't pitch all weekend... I assume he would either start today or will be the first relief pitcher. Saalfrank could be an option today for a start, as could Herrin, although Timmy would probably only go 3 maybe 4 innings tops. Sommer and Hobbie didn't pitch at all either this weekend. So, probably a combination of all those guys and they will all be on a short lease because we need this win today.

Lord it's nice to have depth in our bullpen.

In other news, Purdue went 0 for 10 with runners in scoring position and lost at home to Ball State 2-0. I wish we could have Friday's game back; I really wanted to sweep that series.

Though it's funny.. we want Purdue to win every game that isnt against us lol for RPI purposes.
