Bailey7878 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Minnesota just suspended him through 2020 for sexual assault charges. I guess if he appeals it won't go into effect right away. Who knows if he will appeal in time for Saturday's game. So your saying we may have a chance!!! Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Bailey7878 Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 Actually says in goes into place on 01/09 so I guess he's playing unless Pitino says no.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote

Maybe but the u of m has been pretty hardcore on this kind of stuff since the academic scandal. They may not give Richie a choice. Plus they had a big scandal with the football team a year ago. Bailey7878 Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 They'll just find someone else to embarrass Davis. The backups are hurts brother who stinks and two African guys about as good as jobe with no hands. But they will probably have the games of their lives. Lol.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote

Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk I think they still have Konate on the bench - an unskilled big, but one who plays with energy and has started in the past. That having been said - Konate was their only serviceable backup with size, and now they have none. A couple of fouls on Jordan Murphy early and they have a major problem. IUBBFan1970 1 Quote
Stuhoo Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Interesting thread about Lynch on the Minnesota message board. Starts out slow on page one, but ramps up in a hurry to some on-campus people talking about this being one of the primary reasons he departed Illinois State, and that many, many more instances of inappropriate/potentially assaultive behavior are destined to come out. In summary? It is sounding like Reggie Lynch was a friendly, likable guy until he was drunk, and at that point he may have regularly turned into a very dangerous guy: http://www.forums.gopherhole.com/boards/showthread.php?80601-Rumors-tonight-of-Lynch-no-longer-on-Gopher-team IUsafety 1 Quote
HoosierCoop Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I am sure they have a few walk-on's that can take care of business tonight. I don't see this as an IU advantage (sarcasm). ElectricBoogaloo and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
ElectricBoogaloo Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Reading through that stuff... I don't see how he plays at UM ever again. What would be the point of playing him? Get in one last hurrah before a 2 year campus ban for sexual assault? We will just show up and sleepwalk through the game anyway. Get rid of the kid, Pitino. Quote

Uspshoosier Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Archie needs his own guys for at least three years before he can beat a bunch of walkons. [emoji22] Not really, he already beat a team with the pre season acc player of the year and potential all American that started 5 scholarship players without his own guys. The game where walk ons were playing we had one playing as well difference was they were playing at home with a 3rd team all American in their team. dbmhoosier Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 A win tomorrow would be huge and put us record wise where most expected us to be at this point of the season. Quote
Diadem Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Lynch, 23, can appeal the decision. Otherwise, it will go into effect on Jan. 9. Athletics director Mark Coyle said Friday morning that “Lynch is still part of our basketball program” but won’t play Saturday against Indiana at Williams Arena. He can still practice with the team. https://www.twincities.com/2018/01/04/gophers-center-reggie-lynch-faces-suspension-until-2020/ Quote
