Popular Post lucel15 Posted December 21, 2017 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2017 Look for Tom Allen and company to add 2-3 more kids. It’ll be interesting with the 4* center out of Michigan. Crystal balls have been flowing in. We already have a ton of underclassmen and as Tom Allen said in his interviews today they feel good about the OL they got today. This class has a lot of speed and athleticism and size. We addressed needs with athleticism and size on the DL. Keep an eye on the boys from southridge (head and Charlton). Also Shamar Jones he doesn’t have a high rating but he was a DL MVP at one of the Nike regional opening camps. Onto players to watch imo 1. At QB watch Penix. Weird motion, but he’s pretty accurate and seems poised. He also is a runner. Read an article where his coach believes once he gets into a college weight room he will be tough to get down and already moves pretty well. He’s no 4.4 speed but it’s more fluid. Also an early enrolle. 2. Jaylin Williams DB/ I’m going to call him athlete because he can do anything. Return. Tackle. Catch. You name it he will do it. I believe he is also an early enrolle. 3. Reece the Houdini. ATH. I am excited to see what he can do. He will most likely end up on defensive side but given a package on offense. 4. Cam Jones. LB. he is athletic (funny trend here). Once he puts on a little weight to his frame, he will be a scales/Covington hybrid I believe. Tons of speed for a LB. gets out of breaks and pursues well and has hips of a dB when opening up in coverage. 5. Stevie Scott and Ronnie walker RBs. It will be interesting to see Ronnie and what he can do as an early enrollee. He has power, speed and he is elusive. It will be nice to have Ellison, Gest, walker. Onto Scott. He is a big back but has speed to go along with his 240lbs. However Allen said today coaches on both sides of the ball are already fighting over him and where he will play. Apparently the kid was also a standout LB. feels good to be back guys. Had to take time off after that Purdue loss and getting kicked out of Ross Ade for sticking up for my little brother who was getting cussed out by 50 year olds lol. Great at day to be a Hoosier fan. Very happy this staff is going after these recruits hard and it’s paying off. I know some people are over Tom Allen and his high energy but these kids love it. And several in interviews said why the chose IU was because of this staff and Allen and how genuine he is and his staff. I believe it was Williams who said it was nice to find someone who cares and is real, he found out that through the process there’s a lot of frauds and fakes... class act we have with Allen and company. Cheers men and happy holiday. Stuhoo, Walking Boot of Doom, Class of '66 Old Fart and 9 others 12 Quote
ThompsonHoosier Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Correct me if I'm wrong, but as it stands; this would be the highest ranked recruiting class that IU has ever had! Now let's hope it translates onto the field! IUsafety, Walking Boot of Doom, southsidehoosier and 2 others 5 Quote

rebelhoosier848891 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 I really like this class. Congrats to Coach Allen—he obviously put in a lot of work and it is great to see so many athletes and so much speed. We need it in our division of the Big Ten! To the new recruits—welcome to Hoosier Nation. The best fans and the best University in the world await your arrival! But his stats basically come from two games. Charleston Southern....take that for what you want and then of course the finale against Purdue. Other than that he was super inconsistent and couldn’t get a lot of separation on routes. We will be fine. We should have Westbrook, Hale, timian, and whop as our top four with young guys finally seeing time. IUsafety and rebelhoosier848891 2 Quote
