IU Hoosier41 Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 I severely underestimated how bad Georgia Southern is. Yikes this is insane. Could be biggest win in program historySent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Napleshoosier, Crimson and Cream and HoosierAloha 3 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 This game feels like it has lasted forever. I can't believe we're only four minutes into the second quarter. Quote

That's not a very high standard. He was fine as a positional coach, but laughably incompetent as a DC; as a DC he was the best weapon the opposing offense had. Iugradman 1 Quote

colonel06 Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 We're getting it done so well student body leaving in large numbers already. Radio Buck Suhr) (sp?) says other teams will show them leaving to their competing recruits.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Hopefully some are just getting shade, I'm not confident. Iugradman 1 Quote
JSHoosier Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Imagine Ellison with a little more speed. For a freshman that wouldn't even be fair. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Per Osterman: Ellison is the 11th freshman in Indiana history to break 100 yards rushing in a single game. thebigweave and Crimson and Cream 2 Quote
rogue3542 Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Did you see the OSU crowd today? Leaving early because your team is dishing out a beating to an obviously inferior opponent in 90 degree heat and direct sunlight is a non-problem in my book. Not that IU hasn't had problems with students leaving at halftime... Iugradman and Hoosierfan2017 2 Quote

They're playing Georgia Southern in 90* heat, and Allen's been able to recruit just fine. As if this is the first time fans have left early during a blowout. It was a blowout WIN, btw. Kids aren't stupid. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Magnanimous Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 FWIW, some students are taking empty seats on the west side. Night and day difference in sunshine. Quote

You've now seen (if you're objective) how his option can be easily taken away if a team is prepared for it (GA SO is BAD, by the way), and he can't throw the ball consistently. He's 1-4 for 7 yards and averaging less than 4 yards a carry. Leaving him in for good would be a mistake. Quote

Lagow can't throw the ball consistently either, and at this point I feel we've seen what he is and what he is isn't exactly good. Ramsey is young and needs to improve, but has a better chance of being the QB going forward. Ramsey isn't anything special right now, but some on this board overrated Lagow after last season and I'm not seeing a player that has improved much. thebigweave and Crimson and Cream 2 Quote

Maybe it wouldn't. He was thrown in two weeks ago against a team unprepared for him. He was thrown in this week against a team that knows how to defend the read option because they run something similar. Think a few guys made him a hero based on an incomplete picture. Quote

I said two weeks ago we're going to need them both to maximize our offense and I stand by that comment at this point. Lagow throws it down the field FAR better than Ramsey does. IUBBFan1970 1 Quote
