I think our walk-ons have a chance to contribute this year. They seem better than what we have had in the past.

McRoberts, by a very wide margin, is our only walkon that has the ability to contribute to a D1 team during an actual game.

Lasko had 25ppg at a very small private academy near where I live; he was honorable mention all-county in an area that is not much of a basketball Mecca. Great student and hopefully a very good practice player and team chemistry kid.

I know his playing time will be extremely limited but FWIW here's his summer AAU stats.  He just completely disappeared from the roster for the final 2 events but prior to that time, he was averaging the same amount of minutes as IU target Darius Days.  As Stu said, hopefully he'll be a good practice player.

Ouch.

Volume shooter. Volume missed shot-er.

Yeah, shot 31-32% from 3 in HS.  Not great really.  But it's a solid pickup as a walk on IMO, because he's got some game.  Pretty quick.  Played high level AAU.

Interesting move by staff.  Didn't seem like a need, but they must see something.

Jager, Blackmon, McRoberts, Taylor, Lasko.

Have we ever had 5 walk ons?
