Apparently this was in relation to KU getting 5 star power forward Silvio De Sousa. Seriously Fran? It's seismic news for a 5 star recruit to commit to a blue blood program? What a joke.

Lol. Might as well tweet breaking news every time UK or Duke watches a 5 star.

Would much rather have him than Forrester.

Why is that exactly? Not much difference ranking wise. Forrester had more impressive offers. Just curious why you are down on Forrester but high on Filip? Thanks

Unimpressive offers and a low ranking... But I trust your opinion so I feel like there's something I'm missing about him. What impresses you about the kid?

Ranking services have a hard time with foreign born players that haven't played in the US yet. He just recently announced he would be playing for a power house prep school Monteverde academy. Here is a little write up on draft express

He is ranked #77 overall by Rivals compared to #142 for Forrester. Corey Evans said he could jump into the top 50 with a good senior season.

That makes more sense. First thing that popped up for him was 247 and they had him at number #144 compared to Forrester at #150. Makes a lot more sense though if he is ranked that high on another service.

His composite on 247 shows me 149 and 247 has him as at 242

He spent his Junior year primarily injured. Not able to showcase himself. The Montverde move is huge for him. Either he plays to his supposed potential and jumps way up or he doesn't, then he stays in Forrester range.

Don't get me wrong, I'm full steam ahead hoping for Garland and Romeo but a kid like this as a backup option is more than fine for me if he fulfills his potential. I'm betting our staff and others are trying hard to gauge his true uninjured potential.

From Hartford to Indiana is a big leap, but it appears many scouts think he is high major potential. Can shoot at all 3 levels.

Regarding the Tyger news, I do believe we reach out, but not sure how serious it gets. I believe MSU will get him and are probably the favorite.

Maybe, but MSU has its point already in Foster Loyer. He's a little dude. So is Tyger. I would have guessed MSU a year ago, now I don't really think so.

That DePaul LaLu connection is a bit odd. DePaul hired LaLu coach, correct? Nobody wants to go to DePaul. Lol

They did get Jalen Coleman-Lands as a transfer front Illinois. I think after the Tyga commitment and landing Coleman-Lands they were picking up some steam but doesn't look like it now

Campbell AAU teammate of Keion Brooks, so Schilling will have a complete handle on the situation.
Seems to me that his size and skill set is very, very similar to Rob Phinisee.

He (Tyger) used to remind me a lot in style to Akinjo. I saw him play as a Frosh and Sophomore. He was good then too. Not sure how well he has progressed.

Might as well recruit him in case Garland goes elsewhere. We need another PG besides Phinisee next season.

Snow says there is 0 chance IU recruits him. Said there was a better chance they would recruit snow or rabjohns over Campbell. They have no interest in him on their team

Interesting. Wonder if they told Phinisee they wouldn't recruit over him unless it was Garland.
