I've been pretty quiet here lately, I've decided to weigh in for those who care to read. When I got a notification on my phone about Archie, I was indifferent. But after sleeping on it, I'm ecstatic! Guy develops kids, even kids with a N/A next to their name on 247! Guy is about defense! Guy is about discipline. Those 3 things right there alone are going to go a LLLOOOOOONNNGG WAY! Excited about IUBB's future

I liked that video! I keep hearing Archie is a great X and Os coach and better than his brother. It sounds good and all but what are the facts that back this up? Also I am glad Calipari thinks he is a great hire but knowing that he is family, I wouldn't expect him to say anything less. I am causiously optimistic here.

Yes it is. The only people not happy are the ones who were delusional about donovan coming.

I honestly thought there was a good chance for Donovan. But like I've consistently said, if it somehow wasn't Donovan, I wanted Archie. The more I think about it, the more sense it makes to have Archie than Donovan. Yes Donovan has won championships. But Archie has time on his side. Time that would've resulted in him going somewhere else and kicking @$$. IU is gonna be really glad to have him

Have no idea if a joke or what the reasons would be, but some reporter tweeted that Crean was at a 76ers practice today haha

Makes sense basketball people try and stay connected to the game they love and make a living in. Through coaching I'm sure coaches make friends that will last longer then after they are done coaching. When rice was fired from unlv crean invited him down for a couple of days just so he was still around the game. After knight was fired Cuban invited him to the mavericks practices
