What qualify as a proven winner? Imo stevens donovan but who else? My problem with Marshall is i doubt he can recruit at this level of school with his personality. Archie is who i want but by far proven. Fife i would take but no experience at all. So who besides stevens and donovan is proven that we could land?

He hasn't done much better that his predecessor at ASU, one Herb Sendek. ASU has a decent FB history/program but the basketball program lives in the long shadow of Arizona, and to some extent, UCLA.

I love everyone following me over to the Mike White bandwagon. I must say I am glad you guys finally noticed him. I told everyone not to be surprised if they made a run and if they did he should be a top 3 choice. Now that that has came true, being 40 years old, having a top 20 defense each year at UF, Offense hasnt been too bad. This year it was great last year average but his style is fun to watch. With the right players it looks effortless at times. If we dont get Billy I WANT Mike White or Tony Bennett and honestly I think White is above Bennett for me. As long as we dont schedule Vandy he will do awesome here. Sadly I havent seen too many people mentioning him but neither was Crean before he was hired. Those 3 are home run hires and probably Archie, Marshall and Holtmann would make me excited just not same level.

0708 reversed trend on Crean being fired to him being retained and then last minute Crean was axed.
