Hopefully the meeting is to collect the checks needed to hire Billy D

Mine might not be as big as some of the others, but let me know when and where to show up and I will have one filled out.

Check Memo: To Make IU Great Again!

All I know is he hasn't fired him yet, and that's on Glass!!!!!!  If he had planned on it, he would of done it by now and not meeting with the boosters.  He wants to keep Crean, and that's absolutely unbelievable.  I hope we get a Glass/Crean firing by tomorrow.

If this meeting stuff is true then I bet the boosters expected Glass to make the change on his own but once they got wind that he wasn't going to they decided to take matters into their own hands.

Again we don't know that Glass was leaning towards keeping him despite the rumor but this is definitely possible. It could be to ask them for money for a big name coach for all we know. My point is we don't know either way or that Glass was planning on keeping him yesterday.

Everyone settle down, the season ended 14 hours ago.  The were always going to let Crean finish the season.  Now they can hold their meetings since the season is finally over.  Stop working each other into a panic about Glass based on other people panicking about Glass.

I hear on here all the time a big booster......what is a big booster? $10,000 a yr? $100,000 a yr, $1,000,000 a yr?

Just wondering. In case I win the powerball I will know how much to donate to get my opinion respected.

I think 100,000 a yr is the minimum to be considered a big time booster but not positive. Could be more or less.

I've always liked Fred Glass.  From afar he seems like a class act to me.  For that reason I want to believe that he's going to make the right call here and that it's simply a matter of patience while he orchestrates things behind the scenes. That said, I've gone from measuring my patience in weeks to days to hours. I've gone from saying I would stop watching my beloved Hoosiers to actually doing it. And now for the first time the thought has hit me that maybe, just maybe, I'm going to do the unthinkable and put IU basketball behind me.

GLASS, MAKE THE F*ING MOVE ALREADY!

It's normal for fans to panic.  Heck, we've been stuck with this mediocre coach 4 seasons longer than anyone wanted him.  So no news about his dismissal is unsettling to all.  Other programs understand the need to move on and haven't hesitated to make it public, see Illinois, Missouri, & NC State.  They all served notice that mediocre isn't good enough and put their fans at ease as far as knowing a change is coming.  Just that notice alone would make all Hoosier fans decade.   C'mon Glass, you'd become the most loved person in the state, at least until you announce the new coach and his name is not Billy, Gregg or Tony.

Goodman reporting Mizzou offered Cuonzo Martin job, he is mulling it over.

Martin wants back in the B1G.  However, I've read he likes Mizzou as well.  I believe Illinois is the only other job he'd consider right now.

Gregg wouldnt make him the most loved person in the state.

Even if IU won the NCAAT every year, what kind of an idiot would fork over $100,000/yr for a college athletic program?

We were still technically the home team last night though right?

Yeah but I'm assuming since we forfeited the home game, it turned into a regular NIT road game in the financial sense.

I am assuming the kind of idiot with $100,000 to burn.
