Sknits nad Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 The story of Glass going rogue and holding a press conference to save Crean is a joke. thebigweave 1 Quote
Iubravos Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 All I know is he hasn't fired him yet, and that's on Glass!!!!!! If he had planned on it, he would of done it by now and not meeting with the boosters. He wants to keep Crean, and that's absolutely unbelievable. I hope we get a Glass/Crean firing by tomorrow. rebelhoosier848891 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 This fitsYes--let's turn up the heat and contact the trustees that we know --or even if we don't know them. They have to be embarrassed by recent events as well. When we hit 1000 pages --I predict we get the word he is gone!Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Again we don't know that Glass was leaning towards keeping him despite the rumor but this is definitely possible. It could be to ask them for money for a big name coach for all we know. My point is we don't know either way or that Glass was planning on keeping him yesterday. Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

Popular Post Uwe Robb Posted March 15, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 15, 2017 I hear on here all the time a big booster......what is a big booster? $10,000 a yr? $100,000 a yr, $1,000,000 a yr? Just wondering. In case I win the powerball I will know how much to donate to get my opinion respected. pumpfake, Hoosierfan2017, reconmkd and 5 others 8 Quote

Everyone settle down, the season ended 14 hours ago. The were always going to let Crean finish the season. Now they can hold their meetings since the season is finally over. Stop working each other into a panic about Glass based on other people panicking about Glass. Walking Boot of Doom, thebigweave, HoosierSadaseci and 2 others 5 Quote

Could be more or less. Quote
triple Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I've always liked Fred Glass. From afar he seems like a class act to me. For that reason I want to believe that he's going to make the right call here and that it's simply a matter of patience while he orchestrates things behind the scenes. That said, I've gone from measuring my patience in weeks to days to hours. I've gone from saying I would stop watching my beloved Hoosiers to actually doing it. And now for the first time the thought has hit me that maybe, just maybe, I'm going to do the unthinkable and put IU basketball behind me. GLASS, MAKE THE F*ING MOVE ALREADY! Quote
seihoosier Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 It's normal for fans to panic. Heck, we've been stuck with this mediocre coach 4 seasons longer than anyone wanted him. So no news about his dismissal is unsettling to all. Other programs understand the need to move on and haven't hesitated to make it public, see Illinois, Missouri, & NC State. They all served notice that mediocre isn't good enough and put their fans at ease as far as knowing a change is coming. Just that notice alone would make all Hoosier fans decade. C'mon Glass, you'd become the most loved person in the state, at least until you announce the new coach and his name is not Billy, Gregg or Tony. Quote

Hovadipo Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 We were still technically the home team last night though right? Yeah but I'm assuming since we forfeited the home game, it turned into a regular NIT road game in the financial sense. Tom White 1 Quote
