I'm as vocal against Crean as anyone is and I wouldn't get rid of him mid season unless the crap really hits the fan.

it's hitting the fan! I think it could be good to let the kids get used to the idea of not playing for crean and to let the entire coaching community know we will be looking for a head coach for sure. What are some of the drawbacks?

Just a question and not my pick but what about a guy like Elston leading them the rest of the season? I know he is brand brand new but I am not sold on any of he other assistants either. I think Elston is a guy that gets it.

I don't have any coaching experience, but I do have experience making people respect me and listen to me. They know there will be consequences if they do not do what is expected of them. That is something that this team desperatly needs at this point.

crean pretty wildly gets made fun of on twitter, particularly by sb nation. probably nothing more than espn seeing the click bait potential.
