The "other site" is saying that Mizzou offered the job to Crean and he turned them down. Mizzou will go after C. Martin now. Also saying that Crean will be retained but NOT be giving a contract extension. Glass will revisit issues after next year.

If Crean is returning then Glass is doing him a huge disservice. If he is fired today then he can leave with IU fans still being thankful for what he has done. If he returns, there will be animosity and fans will turn on him.

Yup. It's always good to avoid overstaying your welcome. We've welcomed Crean into Hoosier nation and we're thankful for the things he's done but now it's time for him to leave. If he's back next year fans will forget about the good he has done for us and things will get ugly.

I do not know what that board is but it is not peegs... Peegs staff has not reported anything along those lines except that the same sources who were confirming a mutual interest with Crean and Missouri are now saying things have cooled... no details and no definitive info.

Stu Jackson, who is the moderator for that site, is saying that their Missouri counterpart is reporting about C. Martin being the lead candidate.
