What's the main sport at IU and the money maker? If he fails the basketball program he is failing the University. Along with the football situation that just happened he is not looking as strong as he was last year.

Arizona St is a strong baseball program but walking away from a team you just took to the college World Series would be hard. I just think most all of his coaching decisions are very questionable.

How long have fans been upset with Crean? How apathetic has the fan base become? How many people just don't care anymore? This has not helped the basketball program or university in any way.

Over helping. Diving at balls where there is no chance at recovery, just to say "I got on the floor for it."

2-3 guys trying to swat one guy leaving 2 guys open under the basket.

I agree. 25 years of mediocrity is too long. Something has to change with the the next coach. No throwing, hitting, choking, whining, texting, tweeting, or tanning. Stevens is the only one that meets the criteria.

Dude, that would be like Stevens leaving Butler after his title run for Duke. Would you really blame the AD in that scenario? Let's at least be realistic.

How is Creans plays out of timeouts so atrocious. Did he waste all his luck on the wat shot? It is almost a guarantee if he calls a timeout one of the most embarrassing things possible is going to happen. It would be hard to be that bad. I think throw the damn ball in and do what you guys do may be better then what he is doing.

We constantly doubled down to help TB in the first 4 minutes only to leave the shooter with no rotation. That pissed me off as well.

They have a long history but no titles since 81 no runner ups since 98 and no CWS since 2010.

I might be being a little over critical with that but if he takes the job at ASU because of the prestige then IU basketball should be able to upgrade coach on the same level. Last title 87 last runner up 2002 both are better than ASU baseball.

When was he supposed to fire him? You had your small window a few years ago when a lot of fans wanted him gone, sure, but giving him another shot was a calculated risk. A risk that paid off last year in another B1G title.

It's been said multiple times, but who was Glass going to get if he fired Crean a few years ago? Another Crean? Then we're back to square one for no particular reason.

Maybe Glass has hurt some feelings by not giving some fans what they want, but this thing about Glass being the one letting down the basketball program is kind of weird.
