Hypothetically, if this happens now before the season, it's going to have to happen fast. It wouldn't be good to let him coach the exhibitions or the first few games and then do it. Those last few games of he that I will not name's tenure were excruciating waiting for the inevitable to happen.

IMO they have to act before Thursday if they are going to do it.

They won't though sadly. It's gonna take another bad season im afraid

Danny Hurley played at Seton Hall, Bobby Hurley went to Duke. Bobby's the coach at SUNY Buffalo and won the MAC East division last year.

Crean should get this year and I am excited for it I think now we will see what he is made of. I will raise this question though given the way things r going.if crean does have decent success here and gets offered a job in the pros do u think he will go just to not have to deal with this type of stuff?

No one in the NBA is offering him a job any time soon. His name has not been mentioned at ALL in any sort of NBA coaching talk

Whatever happens with Coach Crean I just hope it's happens soon. Whether that's getting the team back on track or moving on. There is a lot of talent in the state of Indiana coming up, especially in the 2017 class. I would hate to see the program in another bad spot where those players wouldn't consider coming to IU.

Only time crean will get an offer is to another collegiate team

My position on firing Crean still has to be what it has been. I do not want to go through a coaching search. Crean better not walk away until we have someone better ready to sign. A coaching search means the destruction of everything that has been built.

I see it. Were you around for the last coaching search? Firing Crean at the beginning of the season will be more than painful, it will mean another dark era and at the end we end up with what? Another coach willing to jump into a terrible situation aka Crean 2.0.
