The guy who tweeted this is the NC Central beat writer for the Durham newspaper, so the tweeter is legitimate and coming from an NC State perspective.  This leaves little question that an arena security guard actually told him this.  The question is how reliable is our favorite security guard.  Evidently the writer thinks he is trustworthy enough to tweet that.

Is it Paul Blart?

Hey, just throwing my .02 cents in. I happen to like the guy.

He's a very good coach and has a good thing going at Bellarmine. Not trying to bash you, don't think he's worth gambling on jumping from DII and have IU his first D1 job, especially given his age. I think he's better off staying at Bellarmine and possibly win one more title and go down as one of the best DII coaches.

Ha, well the dude is in Dayton right now. So idk. One of the crazier rumors on twitter might have actually came from an actual conversation.

I saw a suggestion on another forum that Crean may not have been willing to play the Porter game as a reason for talks with Missouri breaking down. That was an interesting take as It was a little suspicious how quick that fell into place once Martin was hired.
