Just how good does that guy think O.G. is?  He'd have to be one of the all-time great IU players to have rescued this turd of a season.  Anunuoby is a good player and was improving, but not yet a dominant player.

Katz saying we've been "crushed" by injuries is a big exaggeration, imoWe had lost 4 of our last 6 before OG went down. I don't think we're 15-11 at this point if he never gets injured, but we sucked when we did have him.  Not having Hartman all year obviously hurts, but I have a hard time including him as a part of the injury excuse. We beat both Kansas and North Carolina with Hartman in street clothes. IU isn't the only team that has dealt with injuries. Other coaches just find ways to adjust to them, and many of them don't have the talent on the court that we still have after injuries.

OG was healthy and playing in the Ft Wayne and Nebraska debacles. The collapse was well on its way

Robert Johnson: "We're definitely not even thinking about quitting. ... We're thinking about the next day, moving on to next opportunity."

IU's Robert Johnson on lack of leadership: “A lack of consistency. It all falls on the upperclassmen, me, James, guys that have been here."@jeff rabjohns

Good on RoJo stepping up and saying that. It shows he has more humility and maturity than the 50 year old coach he plays for who leads the program in deflections.

Fire tom crean now this is suppose to be a blue blood program and here we are barely 500 and like 10th in big ten probably will not win another game the rest of the year. Blame it on injuries whatever but they weren't that great before og got hurt. There is zero leadership on this team. As much talent that we have there is no way og getting hurt makes our season look like this that's just an excuse. I can't even watch them play anymore no offense no defense. Davis was schooling Michigan today and he sets him for long stretches at end of second half. I mean I don't understand where this guys head is at. No coach no leadership and no chemistry is what this season is about not injuries. We don't even deserve to play in the nit

As one of the founding fathers of the  "Tank" I declare today a victory for the good of IU Basketball.

Don't worry folks, help is on the way. With the media starting to question Crean and the largest student section in the nation failing to show up to national television games, it's only a matter of time before our prayers are answered.

My hot take : Tom Crean has one final game in Assembly Hall on Feb 25th.

Questions :   Does OG's injury have anything to do with our offense standing and dribbling for 20+ seconds?   (Or getting to the FT line just 14 times in a home game?)  Does it have anything to do with teams figuring out that all you have to do is take away Indiana's transition?  (Think 0 three's in the first half is a coincidence?)   Does it have anything to do with 15 turnovers?

I am so sick of the injuries excuse.  Jesus, Indiana lost a future All American and 4 year starter in 1993, and still went on to win the Big Ten and make the Elite 8.   They lost an All American in 1975 and went to the final game.  They had a rash of injuries in 1983 and still won the Big Ten.   I don't want to hear about injuries.  That's why you have a bench.  We have Tim Priller.  Whose fault is that?????

Same crap different year, only this time he doesn't have an all-american on the team to save his ass!

 Nothing to do with injuries!

Cream doesn't understand basketball … do you really think he's gonna understand a football reference?

Fair point.

If he hasn't already, surely he just lost his locker room.

I can't get behind IU tanking even if it means Crean going. And I want Crean gone yesterday. I would love to see IU win the BTT and fire Crean the next day.

The sad thing is I think we'd get the same result from either tanking or playing as hard as we can.
