I am not a CTC supporter. But, he built a game plan to win vs a team that is just a bad matchup. We got a comfortable lead and never gave it up. The plan is to win, we got a win. It lasts 40 mins. So you lead at the end is the one important stat. We are also in first place at the moment. Thats a successful season, to this point.

Man trust me, I was confusing my fiancee all game with my compliments of crean until the final 5 minutes. I was very happy had we not collapsed at the end I would have probably posted something in this topic about how perhaps he was working to improve his deficiencies.

Ha you and me both man. My wife kept walking by knowing we were up big. I told her I figured we would let them get to 6-8. Didn't figure it would get that low. It would have been better if we were up 10 the whole game. When we are up big we play slow. That's not what we are.

My feelings on the coach are known so I'm not getting into that right now, and I think I've been consistent saying I don't care about one game or season at this point so I'm not getting into that either.

My post didn't really didn't even have anything to do with Crean aside from a quote in my signature.

I agree. It wasn't really aimed at anyone in particular. I could have hit reply, but used to quoting.

I'll be more impressed if Crean can keep the guys focused and avoid a bad loss at Allanoy.

Yep. After PSU that is a must. After today I still expect 14 wins. I said that would make me happy and I am sticking with that.

I'm right there with you.  After seeing Vegas IU -4 I figured it would be close.  We played some great stretches of basketball but felt like we went into cruise control with about 6 minutes left.  pu hit some shots and started feeling good.  I don't like how we played so casual and nothing was done to stop the momentum.  Great win in a rivalry game against little brother.

Fair enough he has to check it but we're posting on topic conversation if he doesn't like it after reading it he doesn't have to respond.

Mods have every right to respond. We're just posters like anyone else here. We bite our tongues more often than not....

Impressive job by Crean tonight. Doing some things I've never seen him do.

We need to win this week at the fake assembly hall.

Don't want my 12-6 prediction to come true. Need to finish off the season strong. Decrease the practice times the upcoming weeks and let's get going ready to dance

Yeah i get that but this topic is supposed to be the safe zone. You mods tell us to keep it out of the other threads so we post here. So why are you then coming in complaining we are posting our stuff here.

You don't want to be challenged on your opinion? Fine.

The final minutes were scary, but Purdue is a damn good team, and a bad matchup for us. Maybe try focusing on what OUR team did well? Like only 4 turnovers? And Crean setting up doubles on the post player on defense? Have you ever seen him do that? Add more to the conversation than, "Can't believe Crean almost blew it!"

He had a great game plan on their bigs as well as how to attack their bigs on the other end.  However, down the stretch the team and coach struggled.  We left shooters WIDE open and we didn't do anything to stop momentum.  I'm completely baffled as to why we haven't seen a good timeout used after he used it so well against Michigan (another compliment).

To be honest from where we started the season have to give crean and coaching staff props on improving. Probably should have started better but now is when it counts. Tonight though I feel crean fell on his face and we just made enough shots to win
