Justin Albers @Justin_Albers I’ve been told that OG Anunoby’s injury is likely to his kneecap and not his knee ligaments. A dislocation would keep him out 6-8 weeks. That's still basically the season.... at that point why rush him back? Assuming we don't get hot with him out then by that time we would no longer be in contention.. I would want him to fully rehab it and do what is best for him. Quote
8bucks Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I had a torn ACL.That don't sound like a torn ACL.I had a full leg brace that had a hinged knee joint. It might have been locked at the knee before surgery. I can't remember but it was full leg Quote

AZ Hoosier Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 At the risk of this being seen as another "bash Crean" post (I assure you, it's not)... Does it seem that Indiana basketball has an excessive number of these types of issues? What happened to the conditioning process... I remember reading how the coaching staff was focused on strength and conditioning to the point that IU basketball players would be the best conditioned athletes anywhere. And I get it that freak injuries happen, but we've had an excessive number of knee injuries - JBJ x2, Hartman x2 and OG ... in just the past 4-5 years. What's the deal? Praying for OG and wishing him a successful surgery and a complete recovery. He's a great kid who just got a tough break. Trish 1 Quote

I believe that was in response to me saying Big Tom wasn't ready and it's not a given he was gone. Curious to see if you are still taking the hard line on that. If Blackmon wasn't hurt last year he would have been gone last year. That's the word from around Marion. OG will probably leave. I am still not sold on Thomas. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Do I still feel like you don't know nothing? I'm confused as to what that means exactly. I still believe all three are gone. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. But I don't think I will be. The NBA barometer can change on a dime. If Bryant gets hot coming down the stretch, which I think he can, there's no way he comes back to Bloomington.
