The balance that he plays with... he doesn't have to be our best at any 1 thing but he is near the top on a lot of different things. ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierAloha and hsrtxp 3 Quote
bleedhoosier Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Like I said, Crean treats that last foul just like the last timeout. It's going to the bus. It's ABSURD he won't let a player foul out. Especially the one with the hot hand. It's my #1 pet peeve about Crean. He'd rather play McRoberts to avoid the risk of Rojo fouling out. I can't stand it.Sent from my SCH-I545 using BtownBanners mobile app Bowhunter 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I just remembered saying this to my bro in law right before the game. I was in the other room for Crean's pregame interview. He was rambling on about how they were planning to defend different Nebraska players different ways on screens. I actually said to my bro in law that it sounded confusing and that we would probably fail miserably at this approach. Another instance of Crean trying to outthink the room?Virginia, Wisconsin, and Louisville all have defensive philosophies that they implement and stick to it, for the most part, in every game. Crean wants to switch it up for poops and giggles. I'm surprised we didn't see the man to zone in the same possession with half the team befuddled halfway through the possession. Is there an intelligent reason to do this in the college game?! reconmkd and BGleas 2 Quote

You just had to mention that silly man-to-zone-switch-mid-possession thing didn't you? I could've gone a very long time without being reminded of that. Seems like the only team that ever confused was IU. ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierAloha and reconmkd 3 Quote
