    Ahhhm… another item to be filed under “no coincidence:” Victor Oladipo being honored on the football game field. We are bringing every all-time great SG in IU history to meet with Mullins this weekend. Waiting for Eric Gordon, AJ Guton, Greg Graham, and Van Arsdale sightings!

    It’s frequently either too hot, too cold, too rainy, too early, too windy, too late, too much traffic, Friday isn’t a good day, Saturday isn’t a good day etc etc etc. EDIT: I will, however, add another reason. We have five more home games and I can see travelers, even from Indy, saving their coin for BT games rather than watching a crappy Charlotte game. Scheduling 100% sure wins is a double edged sword when it comes to attendance.

    The “sports bra” is a Catapult activity tracker. Allows strength and med folks to track guys’ vitals during and after workouts. Football teams use them to track reps and wear and tear throughout a season. Absolutely essential pieces of equipment.

    I would imagine that if Barrell Rick is truly dialed in (and I believe he is) the word spread about the level of his prior sharing and he will not be making an appearance. When he posted the official visit pictures before anyone else had them? From that point on I was a believer. That was months ago and things could have changed, but as of then I'm reasonably sure he was in the know.

    It's such a nice contrast from previous years. With Coach Cignetti I don't worry about us being outcoached and losing the game from the sidelines. Surely he will take lumps like everyone in high level competition does. But I don't worry about our team beain unprepared or undisciplined. That is a refreshing feeling.

    Already can’t wait to see him and the team against MD. I LOVED seeing us win at UCLA but will not be surprised to see them finish 17th or 18th in the BT. Looking forward to seeing us against the MD and NB types of teams.

    We should go 10-1 non-conf so 11-9 would put us at 21 wins 10 losses pre conf tournament. I think that would have the natives restless. I would think 15-5 would have us with a share of the regular season title. But I’m guessing the regular season will be all kinds of wonky with these unbalanced schedules.

    He’s a good enough coach that I expect a good season next year. He’s a flawed enough coach that I’m fine considering us a dark horse or long shot or whatever for a FF run next year. Unless we take major strides defensively we’ll get beat in the same manner all his teams get beat.

    I was born in 1980. Was a student for the 2002 national championship run. Enjoy the early 90’s teams but was also swept up by the fab 5 movement before becoming a diehard. The Watford, Zeller, Oladipo teams were gold besides they didn’t defend anyone. Loved Yogi. Was the #1 TJD fan on the sight. He literally carried teams on his back.
