  1. Past hour
  2. Josiah Parker a wing from FAU that we were supposedly in contact with has comitted to Georgetown
  3. Bravo, Josh. This is a strong little speech right here.
  4. Today
  5. Seems about right. We’ve got around a 15-30 ranked team as it stands. We’ve got some solid potential. A couple studs. A few what ifs. Some freshman with potential that look way underdeveloped to contribute that it seems we are counting on. If one of them pop plus Mustaf or Harris we should be fine. If not…. Wish we would have added one more top 6 guy to the roster then depth at the 5. That roster would push up 5 spots and some versatility. Will Sisley improve enough? Can Harris contribute? Is the 3 ball going to be abysmal? The freshman as I mentioned above appear frail as can be (sans Moody). Lindsay isn’t really a 1. Even though he can play it some. So we don’t really have a back up 1 in case of injury. Moody? Still holding on to a glimmer of hope they rethink these last couple spots. Until they are filled, we’ve still got time and hope.
  6. Damn right they are. Not to get too off topic here, but playoff hockey might be the most exciting version of any major sport imo. Back to topic...would like to see at least 1 big and 1 combo forward. I'm happy where we are but need some depth for injuries or foul trouble.
  7. This doesn’t instill my confidence given what other top tier teams are moving on. We can’t afford to rely on these possible scenarios if we want to be relevant. Hopefully what we have invested in our GM it seems like we should be moving towards a solid roster with plenty of depth. “Depth” being the keyword. My worry is that it’s seeming to be based on a lot of “ifs” that we get the 55 deal and possibly someone like Alexis willing to come back to IU, and if that doesn’t work out, then we are left to the bargain bin.
  8. You could see the potential at Indiana. So happy to see him flourishing as a pro.
  9. +40 in a half, you don't even get that when IU plays Her Sister of the Sacred.
  10. OG and the Knicks in game 5 vs Atl tonight. Knicks ahead 78-29. With three minutes left in the second quarter. Wow. OG has 24 on 9-10, 4-5 from three in 18 game minutes.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Pavia is a very respectful person. He looks up to everyone!
  13. Post spring practice rankings from 1-138. IU at #5. Guess which is the worst power conference team at #112? https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2026/04/29/college-football-re-rank-spring-practice-ncaa-1-138/89824995007/
  14. Wonder if we'll actually get that visit Thompson said he planned to make several weeks ago. Sam Kayser - Thompson’s high school coach this season, Chad Myers, was recently added to the Vanderbilt staff as an assistant coach.
  15. Arizona transfer Dwayne Aristode has announced he’s committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-8 freshman is a former four-star recruit who played one season at Arizona. He averaged 3.8PPG and 1.7RPG this season. Shot 46% from 3.
  16. Playing devil's advocate, I think development is development whether you ever start or not. And Cig has proven he does that better than anybody, so recruits should want to come. If Alberto balls out this year, it will be another feather in his cap. Develop at IU and make money starting somewhere else if things don't work out isn't the worst thing in the world. With better incoming talent, hopefully guys with a few years of development in the system would be as good as any transfer we could pull in. Or not, becuase we're pulling in a top 3 transfer QB each year. I don't really see a major problem either way.
  17. Would love to know how much Drake and Harris received in NIL last season for not playing a second.
  18. 5'11" combo guard attends West Clermont HS in Cincinnati, OH. Plays AAU for Legends U on the Power 24 circuit. Her high school team is a member of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference and she was the ECC offensive player of the year. She led the conference champion Wolves (15-1, 21-3), averaging 20.1 points. 19. Enjoy both! Summer is awesome. When the Cubs are good, I watch a little bit of baseball. NHL playoffs are awesome. Travel soccer/baseball with my boys. Life is good even when IU stinks at sports.
  20. Indiana transfer Jason Drake has signed with Temple. The 6-foot-1 guard out of Oak Park, Michigan spent one season at Indiana, but did not appear in a game due to injury. Has also spent time at Cleveland State and Drexel. He averaged 11.1PPG, 3.1APG and 3.0RPG for Drexel in 2024-25. Shot nearly 40% from 3.
  21. One of these days we will lose a starting QB and somebody will get a chance to take the reins of a title contender. Kids will come for development and then if they don’t get that chance they will go to a Georgia Tech. With new kids wanting development coming in behind
  22. You need to take up golf or pickleball or something. Lol
  23. Looks like Flores gave Mendoza permission to wear his #15 although others have worn it, but Mendoza asked if he could wear it. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/fernando-mendoza-will-wear-no-15-with-the-blessing-of-tom-flores “He’s perfect,” Flores said of Mendoza. “He can make every throw. He can make the plays. What can’t he do? He does it all. He’s fun to watch. . . . Plus, he’s a good-looking kid. Like me.”
  24. If I remember right, Shannahan mentioned they have had a 1 year starter for the last 6 or 7 seasons. They recruit QBs but what is the incentive to come if you aren't going to be the starter because they are looking for a proven guy every year? I get it. That's the single most important position on the offense and someone you cannot get wrong but if you don't give any of these guys a chance at some point they will all transfer IMO. I think most of us saw the writing on the wall when he did not enter the Oregon game. Tough loss but can't blame the kid for going to make his own path and have a chance to be a starter.
  25. This is why we need IU baseball to be better. But the NHL playoffs are incredible. And Summer is incredible. Hopefully can get at least 1 add with something to offer. Or maybe 2. We have more to look forward to roster wise without a doubt this season, but I think we are making a mistake by intentionally lowering our standards on the “final” 3 spots. If the Freshman aren’t good or ready we’ve hurt ourselves.
  26. For two big spots we currently have Yigi, Sherrell, Sisley, and a big still to be named. Mustaf can guard a four in a pinch, and Karvala is ... tall ;) We have three spots that we will still likely fill. Stay tuned; at least one should be a big kid. As others have said, a Sam Alexis 5/5 return would be pretty perfect.
