Move was necessary for Rockets to sign Joe Johnson. Williams has been playing well in G-League since coming back from an MCL sprain. I'd expect him to find another landing spot soon.

Just saw another tweet that apparently the rockets have changed their mind on releasing Troy and plan on keeping him.
