Whats the overall feel on actually landing this kid?

Sadly slim. If we miss Wilkes this one becomes ultra important. Even if we get Wilkes, I have a feeling this kid is extra talented.

He did take time to attend HH so it puts us squarely in the game. Just seems like the type of kid Kansas gets every year.

Latest interview by Preston. Not much in there, but Crean was the first coach that came outta his mouth when asked about the 4 schools he was mainly focusing on. I think were in this more than others think, but USC will be hard to get him from. Doesn't even mention Self oddly.

I listened. He said Crean, Self, Boeheim in that order then went back and said Boeheim is a legend.

He mentioned Self though.

Also, it was alluded that he was wanting to be a early signee. This interview says he looking at the Spring again. So, that is newsworthy.

Nice interview. He will be helping some program next year if he qualifies. He's a great talent.

At this point hes a must get for us to compete next year.  Really have a balanced roster for next year, Great supporting cast just need a star.  How we can't get one boggles my mind.

Eric Bossi's thoughts.

Status: Originally, Preston planned to wait until the spring to make a decision, but after visiting Indiana, Kansas, Syracuse and USC, we are expecting an early decision. Preston is a native of the Los Angeles area but has been away from home for the last two years. This appears to be a very tight race between Kansas and USC.

Prediction: Kansas.

Confidence level: 2.8.

Only quoted cause some have issues reading my post if not, but IU picked up a CB prediction from Dain Ervin today. If Crean gets Preston & Tucker some people will really be eating their words. Let's hope more picks come.
