Shake Milton would be an example against that fact and Malik Williams would be a current example. There were others as well but I would agree more times then not it is a good sign when she follows someone

A lot of words spoken by Crean during the ring ceremony seemed to be directed at recruiting and specifically Preston. The whole event is a recruiting tool but both Crean and Seth Greenburg were hyping up big man development. I'd be curious to know what pap and others are saying after the OV.

A lot of talk of VO and OG not being highly ranked recruits as well.

A track record of getting our big to the next level that should continue this year and usually only one top big on the roster at a time. I dont know why Preston wouldnt want to come here.

His other schools can show the same track record of getting kids to the pros sadly.

Crean was talking to recruits but certainly talking to the fans as well. People like me that worry about recruit rankings.

Because this recruiting season ON PAPER looks like a whiff so far considering the ratings of the in state kids.

I personally think he has some nice pieces but as was posted the other day, the perception is we are missing targets over and over.

Made it clear he wants good kids willing to work and listen.

KU has been able to get Embiid in the league but hasn't played. Alexander was just cut too.

They also have Darrel Arthur, the Morris twins, Thomas Robinson, Cole Aldrich and Jeff Withey. Not saying those guys are great, but they're all Bill Self bigs (at least they were all bigs in college) from KU in the NBA.

I was thinking more recent and highly recruited kids. I think KU navigates around the rules a lot.

I cheated a bit w scout lol if u click the link and read as fast as possible you can read the article without having to pay haha. They asked Preston how the visit went and he gave more than the usual it was good, fun, whatever sayings. He talked about how they loved what they heard from other parents about Crean. They also talked about how the atmosphere was awesome. They talked about Crean personally and how the team was really connected to each other. They also liked how the dorms were close to everything. Like I said it was much more detailed I may have missed something at the very end, but that was it for the most part. I think were a bigger player for Preston then people think. I could see us actually getting him, but wouldn't say were the leader, I believe its Kansas & us. I can't take another tight recruitment lol so hopefully we get a better picture soon.

Durham, Wilkes, Smith, Moore, and Preston looks like a great class. It has just about everything I would want out of this class.
