I know we never give any fault to the perfect one....but he even had an int called back. 3 official turnovers in the biggest game of the year. Turnover machine. Another year with no playoffs...yuck!

Against the Jets he was phenomenal. Against the Texans he was horrendous. It's night and day.

Dude. Seriously. What did he do to you personally. You aren't even the slightest bit objective about Luck. You just hate the guy. Its weird.

Luck has some role in this for sure but with a little bit better pass protection and a little better coaching (no TEs blocking Clowney) then I think Luck shines again. Those that just bash him seem to be taking their que from Dakich.

Dakich makes some good points but he also is blind to placing any blame with Grigson which dilutes his perspective

Here's the thing about the fumble. It was a stupid play call and that's if you ignore having Allen trying to block clowney all by himself

He wants Grigson to trade him to the Bears for the 4th overall pick in the upcoming draft. I agree with Josh. That is best for everyone at this point.

My thing is the people who bash Luck is a lot of them turn around and act like other people never criticize Luck or that he is never criticized. If you look through this thread there has been plenty of people who support and like Luck that have made comments that criticize his dumb mistakes like just staring at his wide outs, forcing the ball into double and triple coverage, over throwing guys, or not seeing defenders roaming underneath routes. But instead all of his turnovers are 100% his doing, regardless if our backs and tight ends can't figure out who they're suppose to be blocking leading to a lot of the time them blocking the same guy leaving someone else unblocked. Our wideouts not running the right route, giving up on their routes, or not running their routes deep enough. The offensive line being utter garbage. The idiotic blocking scheme putting a tight end on top edge rushers, today wasn't the first time, we do it way more than we should, i.e. ever. Or even wideouts not being able to catch the ball, lead the league in drops but I'm sure that is Luck's fault somehow. The route trees being horrible because of how often they just run the multiple guys to the same exact area of the field rather than working to get another route open. Sorry for the rant, but the guys who bash Luck are some of the more obnoxious, even more when they try and play it like they are the only ones being objective on him.

My thing for today since the damn Bears game wasn't shown is there were a lot of dumb play calls that put Luck and the O line in bad spots. How many drops did Dorsett have today? Back to a couple of play calls though. The two most obvious are the screen on 4th and 1 and the play where Allen was one on one blocking Clowney. The screen is 100% on the coaches. That was just dumb. Obviously the rush is getting let through. Throw a slant if you have to throw. That was dumb. The Clowney play I would assume Luck could adjust his protection based on what he sees at the line. Maybe he did. Maybe the LT was supposed to kick out, but to me that is on Luck as much as the coaches. IDK. Luck is a great talent in a bad spot with a coaching staff enamored with his arm, but not in protecting him. Manning was lucky with the continuity in staff that was a great staff and a solid core built right before he was drafted. Luck didn't have that luxury, and the drafting since has been atrocious. Wasting a hell of a talent.

After reading all that I can see where it's easier and less time consuming to just blame Luck...

Any thoughts on that challenge by Pagano yesterday when the Colts didn't even recover the ball? If there is a coach/GM duo in this league more in over their heads than Pagano/Grigson, I'd love to know who they are.

Browns?

I could be way off on this, but I've noticed a bit of a trend with people who are always quick to jump on Luck for his mistakes. Most of them were huge Manning fans and were royally pissed off when he was let go. So Luck doesn't have to be as good as Manning, he has to be even better than Manning to justify letting Manning go.

Or maybe we just have one of those "unconventional thinkers" on our hands...

Some clarification on the challenge: apparently Pagano didn't want to challenge it after being informed there was no clear recovery, but due to a "miscommunication" the officials reviewed it anyway.

Miscommunications seem to happen an awful lot with Pagano. *cough* fake punt *cough*

What do they mean no clear recovery?  Perhaps they should pay attention and do their job. Seriously challenges are absolutely pointless they get them wrong consistently

Jeff Fisher fired by the Rams today. Like Pagano, he had just been extended last January.

Can't wait for Irsay's excuses when he lets a cancer survivor guilt-trip him into staying again.

Putting Fisher's coaching career in its proper perspective.  This is how bad he's been.

So for the Colts to make the playoffs the Texans have to lose their game against the bengals. The Titans have to lose to the Jags but then beat the Texans in week 17.

Oh and they have to win their last 2.

Despite this there are reports that we aren't firing dumb and dumber.

It's all coach-speak at this point. The media is dumb and people keep asking Irsay if he's going to replace them. Obviously he's not going to say he will when the season isn't over yet.
