Saw that on Facebook earlier.

They are making a statement, it's the same statement as always:

Little brother jumping around waving arms:  "Hey guys, look here!  Look!"

Big brother:  "Just stop, you're embarrassing the both of us."

I'm sure some of Valpo's stats the last 5 years would overshadow Purdoo-doo's too.

Hmm, realized there is one big difference in our little/big brother dynamic.

We don't stop others from picking on little brother.  Kind of like...

Others: "What's Purdue?"

Big brother: "Exactly...."

To be fair, how many chances has pu had at top 25 wins? I don't recall them playing too many top 25 opponents in the noncon games. I guess that actually adds to the fact little brother has to kick and scream for people to notice them.

I quickly counted up and it looks to be about 43 match ups since 2011-2012 season. TO your point about noncon games, normally PU's first ranked opponent is either Butler or ND at the Cross Roads Classic, which they have never won a game at.

18.6% in games against ranked opponents.

You would do better at guessing C on a multiple choice test

If you were a batter in baseball you wouldn't be for very long

Although if you were a weatherman you would be a superstar.

TB name 2nd team All-American by NBCSports

Thomas Bryant, Indiana: Bryant is another guy that had a chance to be a first round pick last season but opted to return to school. He had a promising first year in Bloomington, but it came with typical freshman mistakes: He was lost early in the year, especially on the defensive end. But Bryant has the tools, he plays extremely hard and he’s young for his grade; he was born five months after Josh Jackson.

NBCSports Pre-Season All-American Teams

Not a whole lot of surprises on the list.
