Hard to imagine a team under Crean struggling to find a way to score. This all really just sounds like coach speak, especially with our first game being against the #3 team in the country.

Don't get me wrong, I still think we'll be pretty good on offense, but I think we lack the shooting efficiency that we had last year with Yogi, Nick, and even Max. I don't think Newkirk will ever be that great of a shooter, he's more of a drive and dish PG who gets in the lane. Other than James and Rob, i don't know who we have that we can depend on to hit 3s consistently. We have some that could absolutely make that jump, but it could take a while. I'm anxiously awaiting the start of the season :)

Im definitely with you. I'm expecting us to be a much more aggressive driving team, with a greater reliance on the FT line. I also expect us all to be pleasantly surprised by the development of the sophomores and ability of the freshman.

Bryant launches them as well sometimes.

Davis was hitting at a high clip in HH warmups. I won't be surprised if we're around 40% from deep again this year. It's not 13-14 in regards to only having one or two real shooters on the team.

Edit: CuJo, Green, Davis, and Newkirk could have all been the second or third best shooter on that team.

Even if we lose against KU in the opener, I'd be happy to see the team play in the system, mistake free, and play together. If we can play back and forth with the #3 team in our season opener, I'll be satisfied. Obviously, we win and I'll be ecstatic, but as long as we play hard and we'll, I'll be fine.

Excited to see our guards go head to head with KU's. Based on last night, I think OG is going to score more points than I anticipated. He's much more assertive and knows he's the dude out there.

I like Davis' game. Anyone see a little Dejuan Blair??

10 Glue Guys to Watch in College Basketball in 2016-2017

Robert Johnson, Indiana: People don’t understand how steady this kid has been for the Hoosiers over the past two years. The 6-3 Johnson affects the game in a plethora of ways and has regularly made timely three-point shots in addition to helping out with ball handling responsibilities. Don’t be shocked to see Tom Crean have Johnson regularly initiate offense next season as Indiana attempts to reach the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year with this kid in the program.

I'll be amazed if we keep our number of turnovers under 15.  If we do, I think we'll have a pretty good shot.

Really, I don't think Kansas is that much better than us.  But if we do get the win, we'd probably jump into the top 5, which would be nice.
