As an avid Purdoo ‘rooter-againster’, I am very happy with their choice.

Seems like a guy with a proven track record of not a high ceiling. Apparently he currently has a hot OC. If that guy doesn’t come with him I’ll like this even more. Odom is likely just another guy, and they are now financially committed to both him and the remnants of Walters.

We stayed at No. 9 in the AP poll, but got jumped by Boise, which replaced SMU at No. 8.

ND is up to No. 3, which leads me to believe they'll be No. 5 in the CFP -- meaning it's unlikely we'll play them in the first round.

Tennessee (6 to 7) and O$U (7 to 6) flip-flopped, which makes no sense -- since neither played.

SMU fell behind 'Bama, so we'll see what that means to the committee ...

If ND gets the 5 seed, it'll further show that it's not so much who you lose to so much as when you lose. At least, if  you are one of the big name schools.

Losing at home to NIU and getting the 5 seed? Ridiculous if it happens and the chances it happens is high.

Their offense is really fun and innovative. Sort of what we thought we were looking for as a “disadvantaged” program last offseason. I would assume that’s the OC’s baby though. Curious to see if he comes along for sure.

If I’m UNLV I promote him to HC.
