Yeah that was a selfish decision by Kelly Bryant. Put himself before the team

So if your son had waited his turn to be the starter and went 16-2 as a starter and got benched, you would want him to stay and forget any shot he has at playing next level.. come on now.

"Backups" are a play away from being starters. I would tell my son to work his butt off and let the chips fall where they may. When my nephew complains about basketball or baseball I tell him the same thing.

It's not selfish to do what's best for your future. The team will cast you aside the moment something better comes along. You have to watch out for yourself. If you can transfer and get another season of eligibility instead of riding the bench your last year that's a no brainer.

In the off-season? Sure, but there was no benefit to him to leave now, it was just throwing a tantrum. I'm sure he'll land someplace and do fine. I wouldn't want hjm on my team though, as team-mate or fan.

Scott Frost's task of breaking bad habits from a previous coaching regime is a bigger task than Archie had. Nebraska is terrible.

I think he'll do well there, but will take a couple years to wash away the Mike Riley stench.

Also, this is probably the best slate of games so far this year.

WVU-TT was great

Clemson-Cuse (Cuse is probably consierably better than the polls give them credit for)

UF-MSU

OSU-PSU

Stanford-ND

LSU-Ole Miss

The end of this FSU-Louisville game is insane.

Louisville up 24-21, trying to run clock, their tight end runs out of bounds, then on first down they throw the ball and an interception, then first down their next drive the QB just floats up in the pocket with no urgency until he takes a sack.

Ok? And if there is no injury then his career is essentially over.

What benefit is there to the team if he waits to leave until after the season? He can't play another snap this year or else he loses that last year of eligibility. Had he stayed, would he have told the coach no thanks when he told him to go in for the injured QB today? That just creates unnecessary drama. I don't think it would've been beneficial to anyone if he waited until the end of the year to transfer.

He could have transferred after the season and played another year no?

I've always believed in the concept that you join a team to be a part of something bigger than yourself. I understand that doesn't benefit the individual but that's not the concept of TEAM.
