Idk it's tough because UNC has a ridiculous amount of guys they can throw at you inside. Johnson, Jackson, hicks, Meeks, James. Think it all depends the combo in together. Think Bryant will have to guard Hicks or Meeks if they are in with Johnson.

 

Yeah, I would think TB guards either Hicks, Meeks, or James.  One of them is usually in the game right?  Hartman will have to play a fundamentally sound game to offset the athleticism of Johnson or Jackson and Troy will have to be good Troy the entire game.  Yogi, Zeisloft, and RoJo will need to be on to make them pay on the perimeter.  OG has the versatility to guard the post or perimeter and just flat out makes things happen.  The biggest thing will be getting healthy this week.

Most of the time yes. They sometimes will run Johnson at the 5 if they want to go a little smaller but UNC is a really long team. I think it really will come down to rebounding. UNC gets so many second chance buckets. IU has to crash the boards early and often.

Agree with that.  We also have to limit turnovers and their run outs.  I think we can at least keep the rebounding close with TB, Troy, OG, JMor, and Max down low.  If we choose to go uptempo crazy fast we need to be holding onto the ball.  If we're around only 10 turnovers and are close in the rebounding I like our chances.  I also like the heart and chemistry of this IU team.

Man--the Heels have a ton of bigs.  While their interior defense is as good or better than UK's----their perimeter defense was not.  I hope we get those open looks at 3 as we will need a bunch of them to offset their 2's inside.

Idk stat wise how they stack up but in both games against Duke UNC did a horrible job guarding the perimeter.

One of the worst teams at defending the three in the tournament (222nd overall).

You would think he would be able to make them as he is an expert eye poker. He can't put the ball in the basket but can always manage to fit his finger in the much smaller eye socket.

I actually had Iowa going down against Temple. This team just peaked mid season and descended from there. They were actually picked preseason to finish 9th in the conference. They just really out performed themselves but eventually everything evened up.

I had to quit watching, it was sad.  Luckily my Cardinals are playing right now :)
