ccgeneral Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 @ZachOsterman: Per IUPD: Former IU football player Darius Latham was arrested last night for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. #iufb Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 That's not going to help his draft stock... Really sucks. Kid worked hard to get where he is. He's since thrown away the opportunity for a quality education, and now potentially an NFL career. colonel06, Class of '66 Old Fart, IUsafety and 2 others 5 Quote

Popular Post jmsgws Posted March 9, 2016 Popular Post Posted March 9, 2016 When are these "kids" going to learn? How hard is it to simply call a cab, or a sober friend. :( Crimson and Cream, HoosierAloha, mdn82 and 6 others 9 Quote

He's since thrown away the opportunity for a quality education, and now potentially an NFL career. It does suck, but the knocks on him are that he really didn't work very hard, just coasted on talent, and his off the field decision making was problematic. You can take that for what its worth, I've never seen specifics. He'll probably still get a free agent shot somewhere, but he better keep his nose clean. VO5 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Yeah, don't think he was going to be drafted anyway. This probably just killed any chance he had of playing in the NFL Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 NFL doesn't care much about this stuff really. They pretend to care but talent trumps character more often than not. (Granted, I think that is slowly changing due to the TMZ like exposure of things). If Latham was talented enough to play ball, he still would. Just not sure he's good enough. We'll find out soon. Beachfront Property Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Wasn't he Antonio Allen's roommate who just happened to know nothing about Allen's side business? Naturalhoosier 1 Quote
Crimson and Cream Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Idiot. If you're going to throw away your chance at the NFL you would have been better suited to stay in school and earn your degree. Might have taken a while I guess. Quote
JaybobHoosier Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Ouch. Wish these guys would understand it's not worth the risk, and the consequences of their actions. Hope he learns and grows from this. HoosierAloha and johnsoniu 2 Quote
